Q:  Do I need to be a computer whiz to use the LifeTrack products?
A: 
The LifeTrack Personal Health Record and LifeTrack Complete products are designed for the computer novice.  The Personal Data Specialists at LifeTrack assist you with all of the computer work. 

Q:  Is my information secure with LifeTrack?
A: 
Other than your emergency medical record, and any data you may choose not to encrypt, your information is encrypted with 256 bit encryption and is only accessible with your password.  The encryption used by LifeTrack is HIPAA compliant.

Q:  Is my information stored on the internet or does LifeTrack keep my information?
A:  LifeTrack provides a service to store your information for you in case you lose your card.  However, we understand that some people are more comfortable maintaining complete control of their information.  For them we retain no information other than their contact info.

Q:  How do I create my own Personal Health Record?
A: 
What sets LifeTrack apart from other companies is that we will help you collect the information you need to create your own personal health record.  Our trained medical staff, which includes medical doctors and nurses, will assist you in collecting your medical information, and creating your own Personal Health Record.

Q:  Are there additional costs associated with creating my personal health record?
A:  You are guranteed access to your health records.  However, the doctors office or hospital are allowed to charge for providing the information to you.  Those charges can be as high as $1 per page.  This varies from doctors office to doctors office.  This is a fee that the doctors charge and is not related to LifeTrack in any way. 

Q:  Can I upgrade from the LifeTrack Personal Health Record to LifeTrack Complete?
A: 
At any time you can upgrade your service from the lower priced packages to the more advanced LifeTrack offerings.  The full amount you paid for the package will be credited to your account.

Q:  How long does it take to collect and digitize my information?
A:
  The time it takes to collect your information varies.  It can take anywhere from 2 weeks up to 90 days. 

Q:  What if I lose my card?
A: 
A replacement card for the LifeTrack products is $39.95.
